Bake a ring inside a Barmbrack (it's a cake. Google it for the recipe), let it cool, and cut and serve to those who are unmarried. The one finding the ring will be the first to marry.
You can bake a nut inside instead of or along with the ring. If someone who got the nut had been widowed, they would be married again. If the kernel is shriveled though, they would never re-marry.

The day the Dying God passes and the year’s end comes. A day that begins the dark reign over Earth. The sun sets past the gates of Hell, opening them. For the creatures of the underworld, and the souls awaiting to re-enter the world, it’s a day of celebration. They are allowed to walk freely on the Earth, still hidden by the veil that separates them from the physical realm. I'm going to share some fun activities besides skinning cats for you to do to celebrate this day.
